My story
Amarildo Fecanji
Hi everybody. My name is Amarildo Fecanji. Im 23 yrs old and Im from Albania. I was born in Korca, a town (70.000) southeast the country. There I followed primary and secondary school. The last two years of living there I also worked at a local radio broadcaster (ABC).
At 18 I moved to Tirana. I started there my undergrad studies for International Relations at the University of New York/Tirana, in the mean time I was working at +2 Radio, one of the two private stations in Albania with the license to go national, and later at NRG radio, currently one of the most successful broadcasters in Albania. However at 20 I decided it was time for change, so I went to Athens, where I continued my studies at New York College. I graduated there in summer 2006 with a degree on IR. Now I am in Nottingham/UK where I am attending a taught master degree on International Law at the University of Nottingham. I speak Albanian, Italian, Greek, English and Spanish. What I can say from all this is that there is no nicer thing than traveling abroad and living to new places and making new friends. Though it’s still very sad when u have to prepare your luggage and say goodbye to everyone.
As for the ESC I have always liked it because all countries of the continent get to have one night together celebrating music. Of course now that Albania participates in this event I love it even more.
So far my favorite entry has been Frederik Ndoci & Aida with "Hear my plea", because I find it... as a friend of mine says: "A difficult love, but that lasts forever..."
My favourite entries for this year... besides Albanias' are.... well scroll down : )
