My story

Pau PV

Hola!

My name is Pau, a 20 years old guy living in the Mediterranian city of Valencia, Spain's third most populous city.

My interest for Eurovision grew up definitely in 2003, after following the contest since 1998. That edition coincided with the revival of Eurovision in Spain after 2002, but since 2004 interest has decreased a lot, only saved in 2008 by our famous Chikichiki in Belgrade.

I speak Spanish and English, but my mother language is Catalan. That's why I consider Andorra as my other representative country in ESC. Unfortunately, the micro State is also unlucky in the competition, having never qualified for the Final since its first participation in 2004.

Eurovision is a great platform for knowing countries, languages (despite the English invasion nowadays), cultures and, of course, music. I study History and Art in University, but I am also musician since I was 5 years old (I play oboe), so it's not strange at all that I am very interested in ESC.

Here are my 6 favourite countries from each year since 2003 (in no particular order and based on studio versions and live performances):
