My story
Raymond Saarburg
I chose Germany as one of my favourite countries in Eurovision because they've always tried to surprise people with their entries.
Roger Cicero was a welcome innovation, Texas Lightning so good it didn't really need Eurovision, Stefan Raab, Guildo Horn, etc... Always something different. And do they get a reward for it? Nope.
And No Angels from 2008 were the only real cliché act Germany has sent in recent years.
This year, my tip is Belgium. Not because I live there - that would be bias. In the last few years I really despised Belgian entries. But this one is so uplifting that it has stayed in my head for four weeks! Mark my words, every little prediction on this website counts for nothing - everyone has a favourite, but it's the public that decides, and Ishtar can't fail!
