My story

Im from Sligo, Ireland. I like the Eurovision Song Contest because it brings Europe together, however my friends make fun of me because I like it as I used to be obsessed with it when a certain singer won, you'll read about that in a second. I'm no longer obsessed with it, I have an interest in it but only really around the time of year when its on TV. I read up on it on the internet but only when I see shocking news articles that will change things in the Eurovision for the better. I like certain songs and singers every year and usually after a while I lose interest in them, but there is one Eurovision winner that I have not lost interest in one bit since she won! Its Ruslana, the ESC 2004 winner. I LOVE Ruslana! She is the best! 2004 was the time when I took great interest in the Eurovision and it was because of Ruslana. And then in 2005 I took an even bigger interest in Eurovision because there were much more interesting songs than in 2004. But I was disappointed with the results because the best songs didnt do well. I dont think Greece deserved to win. They weren't the best. Israel, Romania, Lithuania, Spain, Iceland, Malta and Germany were the best, but Im not surprised Germany came last because Gracia sung out of tune! I was so happy to see Ruslana on TV again! But I think for me it will probably be the last time as I am over in Ireland and the only time she will be on TV again is if she wins another World Music Award. All I can really do is listen to her albums. I love you Ruslana! Please come to Ireland sometime!!!
