My story

Ciaran Tuttiett

The year 2002 changed my life (for the better!! I was at Scout Camp in the middle of a forest in the South of the United Kingdom. We were all bored sitting around the camp fire and i had brought my protable radio with me. So i turned into BBC Radio 2 with Ken Bruce and he was commentating on the Eurovision Song Contest and I was REALLY interested in all these different songs from different countries. Listening to all the various songs and all the voting at the end and where Latvia won ( ) Malta came 2nd ( ) and Estonia & The United Kingdom both came joint (3rd) it was really amazing!! I remember watching it while i was really young!! I remember the 1991 Eurovision in Italy. Remembered the tune to Carolas "Captured By A Lovestorm!" and watching it EVER yeah without fail. 2002 was the year when i REALLY got into it!! And i really love it to this very day!! The highlight of my year!!
