Hi there!

The fist show I ever saw was the 1979 contest at the age of almost 6. I still rememer a very catchy song (losing to the Israeli entry as Spain gave away their lead as the last country to vote) Called "Su Cancion". After that, I became a fan of this eurothrash show. Getting shocked by my own country's win in 1985, the final was held in Bergen for 1986 only few km's away from my home. I was dead proud and since then I have watched all the ESC finals and semi-finals.

Favourite Year (music) : 1985 (Norway's entry was not the best one, Turkey or Denmark (even Finland!) had better entries that year, but still.. )

Worst Year (music) : 1978 (Most of the ESC's during the seventies brought on low standard songs, 1978 being the worst, especially the winner... And the norwegian entry being the second worst ever).

Favourite Show: 2005 Kiyv. Fun, fun, fun and professionally done
The Biggest Bore: 1989. Was it even a show?

The All-Over-Low-Standard-ESC-Show-Prize goes to... Athens 2005. Amateur production, Olympic Games left-over-effects and so far the worst female host to ever set foot on a ESC stage. Rumours of deliberate sabotage of certain performances and so on...

Greatest ESC Moment:
Fist presentation of the 2004 entry: Lane Moje... Needless to say more...

Lowest ESC Moment:
Israel wins the 1979 ESC as the runner-up gives the victory away as the last jury to present their votes. BUMMER!!!

Biggest Thrill: 1991, Sweden and France battling for the victory. No offence, Sweden but Carolas entry was horrible...

Funniest Moment: Athens 2006. The Dutch voting host trying to fix himself a date with Sakis live on TV during the presentation of the Dutch votes. Sakis was great, but his female co-host was extremely annoying.

Worst Dress: Barbara Dex, but the 2006 Portugese entry along with Silvia Nott needs to get their own fashion consultants ASAP!....

I guess that covers my view on ESC for now.
