My story

Gary Speirs

A huge ESC fan since the age of 12 - originally from Cardiff (Wales) but moved to London and now Brighton, the city of Abba's win in 1974.... In the 70's, ESC used to be the only time you would hear foreign languages in the UK and I loved it!

From taping it by hand in 1975 to being a UK jury member in 86, to my first visit to a Contest in 88 and then the Eurovision finals in 89,90, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 00, 01, 02, 03, 04 and 05!

Its an obsession for sure!
